Turnitin rubrics can be attached to Turnitin (LTI) assignments. Qualitative rubrics provide feedback only. You cannot apply the rubrics as grades for the students’ submitted works.
By default, all Turnitin submissions are added to the standard paper repository and checked against three sources for the Originality Report. You can choose different options for the assignment via Canvas.
If you are using a program outside of Canvas, such as Remark or TeamMates you can bring the exported marks from these programs into Canvas.
Create a ‘no submission’ assignment instead of a quiz.
The University of Auckland has been chosen to participate in the focus group of the new Canvas Gradebook. We are now looking for staff who would like to test the new feature in the Test Environment.
“Quizzes in Canvas can be used to challenge student understanding and assess comprehension of course material. You can also use quizzes to conduct and moderate exams and assessments, both graded and ungraded.”
