We recommend exporting the content of the past course first, then importing this export package into the new course. When selecting specific content, exclude announcements, Turnitin assignments, reading lists, calendar events, Canvas discussions or Piazza.
At the University of Auckland, cross-listed courses can be created when courses have the same content but different course codes, or, a course is a full-year course that has two course codes in Student Services Online (SSO).

Some faculties have policies on the publishing timeline in Canvas but generally we suggest that Semester Two courses are published by Monday 10 July. That is two weeks before the start of the semester and one week before Orientation Week.
