Project Overview

The Learning and Teaching Technology Review (LTTR) Programme was established in 2014 to support learning and teaching with a cohesive suite of contemporary educational technologies.

  • The first phase of the LTTR Programme saw the completion of a review, with high level objectives, an e-learning investment plan and report in 2014
  • A decision to replace CECIL was announced in February 2014
  • A detailed procurement process for a new Learning Management System was conducted
  • Instructure and their product Canvas were approved by the Tenders Board in May 2015
  • Canvas was announced by the Vice-Chancellor as the new LMS product for the University in June 2015

To the many people who have contributed to this project, an enormous thank you. As we move toward the implementation of Canvas, please continue to provide feedback and ask questions as it really helps us to know what’s on your mind and how we can assist.
