Some faculties have policies on the publishing timeline in Canvas but generally we suggest that Semester Two courses are published by Monday 10 July. That is two weeks before the start of the semester and one week before Orientation Week.
Once a course is published, enrolled students can see it in their Dashboard. We recommend that the basic course information is made available, such as a welcome announcement, first week content, the reading list and Semester Two assignments. This allows students to prepare for and engage with the course, for example find readings, create a personal calendar and plan their semester tasks.
