If you have identified a student that was previously available on Canvas gradebook but now seems to be unavailable, it could be because the student has been made inactive due to visa issues.
To check if this is the case, you can go to the course’s People page and search for the student. If the student is inactive, this will be stated with the student information. Once the student solves their visa issues with the International office, the student is then made active again.
If you cannot find the student under People, there might be another reason for the student to have been dropped from the course. In this case you should contact Staff Service Center (SSC) to investigate what is happening. Please include the course code, student name and University ID when contacting SSC.
