Year-long courses and courses with different codes but with the same content are potential candidates for cross-listing. We strongly recommend that you read about these and, if applicable to you, get your courses cross-listed before you start the course setup. Once students submit an assignment, we will no longer be able to perform the cross-listing.
Our next meeting will be on Friday 1 December, 10am at the Great Hall, Clock Tower
Moderated grading in Canvas allows multiple teaching staff to enter provisional grades and comments for an assignment. We recommend that you read the Canvas Community guides about moderated grading carefully before enabling the feature for an assignment.
In Speedgrader, annotated submissions can be downloaded as PDF files. These can be printed with the annotations using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Simply open the downloaded files in Adobe Acrobat Pro, and create a comment summary.
Every design decision you make in your Canvas course plays a huge role in creating an inclusive and accessible course for all students. Centre for Learning and Research in Higher Education (CLeaR) has made available an Inclusive Design for Online Accessibility poster. It gives an overview of the basics of designing for accessibility.
