It is important that you plan the structure of your assignments from the beginning of the semester. Having the correct assignment structure allows Canvas to calculate and submit the correct final grade to SSO using the Final Grades Tool.
Some things you might want to take into consideration are:
- How many points are the assignments marked out of? Do you need assignment groups for weighting?
- What is the plan if you have to apply aegrotat for a few students?
- Does your course use plussage?
