Inbox/ Conversations are an in-Canvas email system. When a message is sent from Canvas Inbox, a copy of it is sent to the recipient’s University of Auckland email, depending on how the user has set their notification preferences setting in Canvas.
Do you have a System Role in Canvas within your Faculty, School or discipline? There will be two sessions offered during the mid-semester break. The workshop will help you become familiar with the key functionalities in System roles (Faculty Admin, Reviewer, Monitor).
The Final Grade Tool is used to finalise the students’ grades for your course at the end of the teaching term. Until now, grades for all assignments had to be unmuted to import the grades from the Canvas gradebook to the Final Grade Tool. With the 15 August 2018 release, grades will only need to be unmuted at the final stage, prior to submitting the grades to SSO.
