Thank you everyone who has provided feedback about the Lecture Recordings tool in Canvas. Based on your requests and ideas we have already made the following enhancements:
- Multiple browser tabs support when opening the Course Recording page
- Observers access to Recordings
- Audio only enforcement added (where Lecture Theatre console is set to audio only).
- Additional button to stream Audio Only version added in Recordings view
We are also working on further updates, in particular functionality around handling recordings for multiple lecture streams. Gemma Sinclair, the Canvas product owner will be providing more details about current, and planned enhancements at the Canvas Monthly meeting to be held Monday. 6th May, in the Kate Edger Information Commons (315-420) at 10 am.
