The Centre for Learning and Research in Higher Education (CLeaR) is running a workshop on on inclusive design for online accessibility in Canvas.

Canvas meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to an AA standard. This hands-on workshop will apply the most recent inclusive design guidelines for online accessibility to ensure that your course content does too. You will work with one of your Canvas courses to create a course page which reflects these guidelines.

The Accessibility for New Zealanders Act will soon be passed into law, so let’s plan ahead and ensure that our online course content adheres to the principles of accessible design for all students.

Friday 16 August, 10am-11.30am
CLeaR Teal Room, Level 2, Fisher International Building, 18 Waterloo Quadrant, City Campus

University of Auckland academics are invited to register through Career Tools.
