At the end of today you will notice something NEW has been enabled within Canvas. Yes, we have enabled the Zoom LTI. For now you can schedule and host Zoom meetings within your Canvas Course.
The Zoom meetings will not automatically be available in the Canvas Calendar and students will not receive an automated notification. We are looking at enabling this later in the year. Please have a look at the quick guide we have created and please feel free to provide any feedback to the team (Email to staffservice@auckland.ac.nz).
Update: As of September 2021, Zoom meetings scheduled from a Canvas course are added to Canvas calendar automatically and trigger notification emails.
