New Quizzes has now been enabled as an option in our Canvas courses. Teachers can choose between Classic Quiz engine and New Quiz engine for creating a quiz. The choice can be set as default for a course by ticking the option “Remember my choice for this course”. You can bring the “Choose a Quiz Engine” window back by resetting a quiz engine choice. Canvas will be phasing out the use of Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes will become the default quizzing engine in 2023. A brief list of new features in New Quizzes is available on our Resources page. Here is an overview video to get you started!
