Course content can be imported to a new Canvas course. Please read the basic considerations for Canvas before importing content.
You need to have teacher access to import content. Here are some useful tips for making sure your students can access the imported content:
- The links in the imported content might point to an expired webpage or a course students don’t have access. You can check links in the course using the Canvas Link Validator.
- You can use Student view to check how your course displays to students.
- If you copy the same quiz to the same course more than once, the quiz you previously copied will be overwritten with the newly copied quiz.
- H5P content can be imported to a new Canvas course. Make sure your students can view the H5P content.
