Until recently, the only way to check students’ assignments for plagiarism was to create a Turnitin (LTI) assignment. If you have a Teacher or Teaching Support role in your course, you can now click a student’s name anywhere in Canvas and view a quick summary of the student’s progress in the course
You can now communicate to specific sections in your Canvas course using announcements.
You may have recently noticed the new version of the gradebook being available as an option in your Canvas course. This has now been switched off temporarily.
From 17 February, GPA Scale is no longer available as one of the Display Grade as option in assignments.
Canvas grades history allows teachers to track and revert changes made to each assignment in their course.
Previously, the grades history page only displayed the name of the assignment with a grade change. The update will include display filters for a specific student, grader, assignment, and start and end date.
It will also allow teachers to view all grade changes in the course.
