- The University of Auckland Course Roster provides student information to assist your teaching.
- The University of Auckland Final Grades Tool allows you to add special grades and submit final grades to Student Services Online (SSO).

- Talis reading lists comply with News Zealand copyright law and are easily accessible to students. Talis reading lists are compulsory for standard University of Auckland Canvas courses.
- Turnitin and Turnitin Grademark (see Turnitin (LTI) assignments and Turnitin and Turnitin GradeMark) allow online assignment submission, marking and plagiarism detection.
- Google Docs (see Collaborations) allow students to work together.
- Piazza (see Discussions) offers anonymous group discussions and student-edited questions and answers.
- YouTube and Vimeo (see Multimedia) are compatible with Canvas, allowing you to embed videos into your course.
- Quizlet offers the ability to create flashcards and quiz question sets.

- Course Roster (a University of Auckland tool) lists student information including student photos, ID numbers and usernames.
- In addition to viewing the roster on screen, you can print, save and create a PDF.
- The Course Roster can be found in your Canvas course navigation menu.

- Although SET is accessed by students and staff in Canvas, SET evaluations are managed and coordinated by the Academic Quality Office.
